David Stemper has announced his candidacy for Bedford County Circuit Court Clerk in the May 4 Democratic primary.
Stemper, a 13-year resident of Bedford County, is a 1988 Maryland graduate of Boonsboro High School and a winner of the 1987 Science Olympiad. After graduation, he worked for the Food and Drug Administration until 1993. In 1997, he passed through Shelbyville, TN and felt a kindred connection with the town and its residents. The City Manager, Ed Craig and the Director of Zoning and Codes, Kip Green are under a storm of controversy due to the nature of what was found on Mr. Green's computer. Lacy Nicole Ledbetter, 25, of Midland Road, Shelbyville, was arrested at her home last Thursday for the alleged robbery of Henderson Winton of South Jefferson Street, Tullahoma.
