While an estimated 300,000 right-wing conservatives traveled to Washington D.C. this weekend to cheer on Fox News&rsquo; republican pundit Glenn Beck, back home their small town economy felt the pinch of their absence.<br />
Attendance at local festivals, gatherings, and special events suffered greatly, causing some to be cancelled altogether.<br />
The annual Possum Festival held in Podunk Falls, Kentucky, was cancelled after vendors and festival organizers met with town officials to discuss the impact that the Glenn Beck rally would have on the profits and attendance of the event.<br />
